Creation and sale of knitting yarn on spinning wheels Fleece preparation' and 'Introduction to spinning on a spinning wheel' courses. Animations/demonstrations on request. I learnt wool techniques in New Zealand from passionate breeders, craftsmen and artists.
Today, I spin yarn mainly from sheep and alpacas from the Occitanie region, in the heart of St Antonin Noble Val (82).
All year round, I spin and sell my skeins and I organise workshops lasting from half a day to several days.
These courses focus either on fleece transformation techniques (1 day minimum), or specifically on spinning with a spinning wheel.
Animal owners can bring their own fleece to be analysed and learn how to turn it into yarn. These courses can accommodate a maximum of 4 people and use high-quality equipment. I also travel to events (craft fairs, heritage days, etc.) and as part of educational projects.
