Located in Espinas, not far from the medieval village of Caylus, Château de Cas is a building steeped in history.
Founded in 11th century on an ancient Gallo-Roman site, site of a 13th-century Templar commandery, Château de Cas was severely damaged during the French Revolution and later during the Second World War. Its owners, the Comtes de Lastic Saint Jal family since 1660, have raised the castle from its ruins.

Let yourself be surprised by the wealth of family anecdotes and historical figures that left their mark on the discovery of the 15 fully furnished rooms in the château. Château de Cas has also been awarded the "Demeure Historique" label, and its dovecote is listed as a "Monuments Historiques".
