The Bosc cave

Situated in the heart of the Aveyron gorges 3 kilometers from the medieval village of Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, the Grotte du Bosc is a small geological treasure revealing a wide variety of concretions. Discovered in 1936 by local speleologists, the Grotte du Bosc has been open to the public since 1938.

Today, it is the only cave in Tarn-et-Garonne that can be visited!

We welcome you for a 45-minute guided tour discover the underground world: stalactites, stalagmites, columns, disks and even cauliflowers will hold no secrets for you!

During the 45-minute guided tour, you'll be amazed by the palette of colors the cave has to offer, and the multitude of shapes and forms of the sometimes rare concretions. For the more courageous, take a few minutes to immerse yourself in the deep black of the cave! A unique experience at Grotte du Bosc.

The cave is open to the public from April 12, 2025 to November 2, 2025. 

Online booking is strongly recommended.

For group visits, the Grotte du Bosc is open all year round by reservation.

The grotto is a multi-activity place where it's easy to spend the day. Its wooden playground and year-round picnic area are perfect for a stopover on your hike along Saint-Antonin's PR3 trails. For a refreshing break, opt for a snack on the grotto's shaded terrace, where you'll be served ice creams and refreshing drinks.

Via Ferrata

Routes designed for adventurers eager for wide-open spaces, with unforgettable panoramas of the Aveyron gorges. No vertigo! The routes are made possible by a lifeline to which you can attach yourself with suitable equipment: carabiner, harness and lanyard are all essential. It's essential to be equipped before setting off. Once you've secured your equipment, you'll be able to move along the cliffside in an atmosphere of unrivalled freedom. Several routes have been designed for both amateurs and initiates, with a zip line at the end. Experience a moment of pure pleasure!
