Bastides & Gorges de l'Aveyron
Welcome to Bastides and Gorges de l'Aveyron, one of the Grands Sites d'Occitanie straddling two departments: Aveyron and Tarn-et-Garonne. Laguépie
Between the’albigeois, the Rouergue and confluence of the Aveyron and Viaur rivers, Laguépie is the ideal place for those looking for a nature getaway. Here you will find medieval history and unspoiled nature. In autumn, it's chestnuts which is honored with a regionally renowned fair. Laguépie is also known as a commune halte du chemin de Saint-Jacques-de-Compostelle with the transition from GR36 that connects Conques (Aveyron) in Toulouse (Haute-Garonne) via Najac (Aveyron) and Laguépie. In summer, it's the quality of Viaur water who has the village talking with the opening of a supervised bathing area from July 1 to August 31.

Caylus
Overlooking the Bonnette Valley, The village of Caylus has a rich history! It has preserved its medieval past through its surviving square tower of the royal castle but also among the details that some notable houses have retained. This is the case of the House of Wolves that appeals to passers-by.
Caylus is also home to a remarkable church, Saint-Jean-Baptiste church, an architectural masterpiece Gothic from the 13th and 14th centuries. Discover the Christ by Ossip Zadkine top of 5.40 metres and carved in a single trunk of abalone wood.
The village is also famous for its regional festival, the potters' market, which takes place every year in mid-August and brings together local ceramists and potters. In 2025, it will be the 32nd Potters' Market August 14 and 15 9am to 7pm Place de la halle. Over the two days, discover the 36 exhibitors and their know-how. Grès, earthenware, raku, porcelain, mixed earthenware, terra sigillata, glazed earthenware ... 36 variations on the ceramic material in sculpture, tableware, interior and exterior decoration and jewelry...
When the weather's nice, take advantage of the circus of Labarthe, A wetland protected for its local flora and fauna. Take the time to walk around the lake, following the directions for the "Roger le brochet" interpretation trail" and relax by the water. In summer, enjoy the lively evenings at the guinguette du lac.

St Antonin Noble Val
Dominated by the Roc d'Anglars whose high walls stand majestically, the commune of Saint-Antonin Noble Val (Occitanie) is nestled in the in a valley between the Aveyron and Bonnette rivers. The grotto is a multi-activity place where it's easy to spend the day. Its wooden playground and year-round picnic area are perfect for a stopover on your hike along Saint-Antonin's PR3 trails. Cas Castle
Go back in time and discover the family history of the Comptes de Lastic through a one-hour guided tour. Let yourself be surprised by the wealth of family anecdotes and historical figures that left their mark on the discovery of the 15 fully furnished rooms in the château. Founded in 1989 in Verfeil-sur-Seye, Jardins de Quercy flower from May to September. They are open to visitors from Thursday to Sunday, 10:00 am to 7:00 pm.
