Detailed description: Presentation
This concert is a reflection of its artists: their different origins are showcased through traditional songs from Lebanon, Syria, Iraq and Palestine, as well as from the Balkans (Bulgaria, Greece, Turkey and Bosnia).
They intersect, converse, complement and respond to each other, in a dialogue combining music and poetry, and they come together around this original sea.
The Mediterranean Sea, the Aegean Sea, the Black Sea and the Adriatic Sea are one and the same. In the end, this Mother allows us to be reborn, to recharge our batteries, to meet each other, to forget our troubles and sorrows, and to dream of a brighter future.
This programme was co-produced by the Abbaye de Sylvanès.
