What if you were to discover the sequel to The Magic Flute in this offbeat production presented at Beaulieu-en-Rouergue Abbey? Presentation
At the end of The Magic Flute, the bird-catcher Papageno has finally met his Papagena, and the two of them enthusiastically plan to make lots of little Papagenas and lots of little Papagenos. But ten years on, is their life as simple and happy as they had imagined?
This family show is an opportunity to rediscover two extremely endearing characters in a new situation.
Musically, we have drawn on Mozart's repertoire and modified the original texts - in the pasticcio tradition - to make Papapapa a chamber opera in its own right.
A show sung in French and accessible to all, from the youngest to the oldest, and from the neophyte to the music lover.
