Detailed description: Presentation of the quartet
Lucile Rentz & The Fluffy Fox is a quartet born of the encounter between Lucile Rentz, a lyrically trained singer with a wide range of musical practices and influences, and the Fluffy Fox Trio, a Toulouse-based ensemble renowned for its original revisitations of jazz standards.
It's De-Lovely! was born out of a shared desire to explore songs performed by the great jazz singers - Ella Fitzgerald, Billie Holliday and Nancy Wilson to name but a few.
This tribute project, whose name borrows from one of the famous Porter brothers' songs, blossoms through a tailor-made cocktail of original arrangements that will amaze you with a repertoire that speaks to a wider audience. Think you know your vocal jazz classics?
Then rediscover them in the light, dynamic format of the quartet and leave room for the unexpected in the voice of Lucile Rentz and under the fingers of Etienne Manchon on piano, George Storey on double bass and Malo Evrard on drums.
