Traditional lead stained glass has been made for centuries, dating back to the Middle Ages. At that time, stained glass was used mainly in religious buildings, but over the centuries it has been modernised and made available to all other types of building (public, private, institutional, commercial, etc.).
Stained glass has both a decorative and a practical function, filling an opening while still being aesthetically pleasing. They can add an artistic dimension to a space and enhance its visual appeal by filtering natural light through colours and patterns, creating a special atmosphere in an interior space. There are many and varied styles of pattern, and it is possible to meet all kinds of customer expectations.
From a practical point of view, stained glass can be adapted to single and double glazing, in all shapes (rounded, square, etc.) and sizes.
Alongside traditional stained glass, there is another more recent process that appeared at the end of the XIXᵉ century: copper stained glass made using the Tiffany technique. With this, it is possible to make stained glass windows, but also smaller decorative objects. For example: Tiffany lamps, sun catchers and all other types of objects in volume.
