Detailed description: A woodturning workshop on a farm in the Causse du Quercy: a resilient and ultra-local activity.
The wood used comes from pruning, fallen trees or dead trees that Benoit and M-Ange harvest exclusively from their farm's forestry plots, which offer them a wide variety of forest species: oak, walnut, maple, ash, elm, boxwood, plum...
Benoit then selects them meticulously to find what's hidden in the raw wood. The wood can be turned green, made into blanks or dried before shaping.
Each piece, whether utilitarian or decorative, is unique and handmade from solid wood, without gluing, using traditional craft methods, according to the desire or need of the moment.
