• St Symphorien Chapel

    Detailed description : The church of St Symphorien At the bottom of the Siétges valley lies a church whose walls are still visible and date back to the 15th century, but whose origins go back even further. According to tradition, the church was founded in 1011 by the Knights Templar. A miraculous fountain is said to have been placed at the foot of the rock on which the chapel of this former priory is built. The Symphorine association maintains and looks after this site. Starting point for hiking trails. Visits by the association by appointment or during the European Heritage Days.
