Detailed description: Founded in the 9th century and the seat of a Templar commandery in the 13th century, Château de Cas suffered severe damage during the French Revolution and later during the Second World War. Its owners, the de Lastic Saint Jal family, restored it from the ruins.
Surrounded by formal gardens, Château de Cas takes visitors on a journey through history.
Château de Cas is a listed historic residence.
Guided tours are available from May to September at 3.30pm (duration approx. 1 hour), except when the château is reserved for weddings or inhabited by the family. It is advisable to telephone beforehand on 06.45.76.53.20.
