Choses & autre" photo exhibition by Lola Jacques Rémy Plunge into the night and take photos of objects using a headlamp.
Lock yourself in a room, close the shutters, turn on a bedside lamp and take photos of objects.
What happens to these things when they're lit up in this way, when they're put together, when I look at them? They become something other than themselves, joining the imagination of each spectator.
Lola Jacques Rémy was born in 1987. She studied political science before becoming a civil servant. Tired of administrative work that left little room for creativity, she quit her job and became a secondary school supervisor.
Photography is a way for her to play with reality. Since November 2023, she has been writing poems every day, which she posts on her Instagram account (remylolajacques).
In 2024, she was invited by Tania Gheerbrant to exhibit some of her poems and photos as part of the "Toucher l'insensé" exhibition. The poems were published in "PLS", the magazine of the Palais de Tokyo.
