A unique event devoted to artists' books, micro-publishing and contemporary bibliophily. The highlight is the Publishers and Artists Fair: 34 exhibitors, bookbinders, engravers, typographers and authors from all over France. For the past 24 years, the Mosaïque en Val association has been organising "Sous Couverture", an event devoted to artists' books, micro-publishing and contemporary bibliophily. The 10-day event features exhibitions of rare books and works produced in workshops. The high point of the event is the Salon des éditeurs et des artistes/auteurs, where 34 exhibitors from all over France - publishers, poets, artists and typographers - present an anthology of contemporary creation. Unique or limited edition books, book objects, art bindings, the creativity of their authors is boundless. The Fair is also a forum for exchanging ideas on techniques related to the book trade, including screen printing, photography, printmaking, lithography and bookbinding.
You'll also be able to discover the books created in workshops by schoolchildren and adults on the theme of "LES PETITS BONHEURS".
You can vote for your favourite book in the competition reserved for professionals.
