During a guided tour, immerse yourself in the daily life of the promontory's inhabitants and discover the essential link they had with water. Clinging to a rocky spur, the Château de Penne proudly dominates the Aveyron valley, offering an uninterrupted view of the river that meanders below. But living on this imposing rock in the Middle Ages was not without its challenges: water, a precious and indispensable resource, had to be managed with ingenuity.
Come along on Saturday 5 July and Sunday 6 July 2025 at 3pm and 5pm for special tours. The site is open to visitors from 10am to 7pm.
The visit is included in the price of admission to the Fortress.
