Discover the medieval village of Varen during the European Heritage Days. Built in the Middle Ages near a bend in the Aveyron, the village of Varen is a treasure trove of architecture. The priory and its deanery, the remains of the fortifications, the houses, the fountain square, the market hall... as you wander through the narrow streets, you'll discover the history of this former church town from its foundation to the end of the 19th century.
