As part of the Journées du Patrimoine de Pays et des Moulins, come and discover the walnut oil mill at Saint-Antonin-Noble-Val, which will be operating exceptionally for the occasion. Come and find out how this oil mill, listed as a Historic Monument since 1990, works. Housed in a 15th-century house, the ground floor features a 19th-century granite monolithic millstone, powered by a horse, under which the walnut kernels are crushed. The resulting paste is heated before being pressed in a press operated by hand using a turnstile.
