The gîte 'Le Moulin' is located in the oldest part of the building, which was the mill itself, dating from the 13th century. Attached to but separate from the owners' accommodation, the gîte is individual and private, with its own private entrance, covered veranda and green areas, as well as stunning views of the 70-metre-long mill. Maybe you'd like to come and stay here while you write a book....
You will occupy the first and second floors. The mill sleeps 4-5 people: a master suite with en-suite bathroom and a second twin bedroom with family bathroom. A traditional 'lighted boat' in the lounge doubles as a small single bed for an extra child on request. The kitchen, dining room and living room form a large open-plan space, with a private covered veranda for al fresco dining, all overlooking the beautiful river reach. A large wood-burning stove gives the gîte a lodge atmosphere for off-season walking breaks and cosy winter/Christmas holidays.
As well as its own private veranda and designated garden, the gîte shares use of the swimming pool, barbecue, badminton and pétanque, 400m from the River Seye and the rest of Moulin Vert's 3.5 hectares of grounds.
