Throughout the day, a host of free, fun activities await you. The CPIE Quercy-Garonne is opening its doors to you for the Fête des Fleurs et de la Nature on Sunday 11 May 2025, from 9am to 6pm. Come and celebrate spring and biodiversity on the banks of Lake Labarthe in Caylus, and stroll through the flower market in a friendly atmosphere. Throughout the day, a host of free, fun activities await you: workshops for all ages, guided walks to discover the flora and fauna, conferences, exhibitions and many other surprises to discover the natural riches of our region. An unforgettable day out for young and old, with family or friends.

The programme:
- Flower, plant and shrub market from 9am to 6pm
- Natural cosmetics from 10.30am to 12.30pm: workshop on making a balm and a solid deodorant from natural products, run by the CPIE Quercy-Garonne, registration required.
- Oiseaux du Quercy photo screening from 10.30am to 12.30pm: birds on the cliffs of the Aveyron Gorges, by Quercy Animalier
- Biodiversity walk from 2pm to 4pm: in the Cirque de Labarthe Sensitive Natural Area, along the Black Swift trail, by the CPIE Quercy-Garonne, registration required
- Life-size botanical key from 2pm to 4pm: follow the guide and take the right path to find out more about the flower in your hands, by the Conservatoire Botanique National Pyrénées et Midi-Pyrénées.
- Biodiversity of ponds from 2pm to 5.30pm: find out how to protect and enhance ponds near you, bring your photos, by the CPIE Quercy-Garonne
- Graines de Paléontologues (Seeds of Palaeontologists) from 2pm to 5.30pm: discover and identify fossils from the phosphatières of Quercy during an interactive workshop, by the Association des Phosphatières du Quercy (Quercy Phosphatières Association)
- Building bird nest boxes from 3.30pm to 5pm: workshop for young and old, by the CPIE Quercy-Garonne, registration required.
- Beekeeping conference from 3pm to 5pm: find out about the organisation of a colony, family beekeeping and the issues involved in preserving this pollinator, by the CPIE Quercy-Garonne.
- Throughout the day: on-site catering, refreshments, exhibitions, Club des Jardiniers and Rucher Ecole stands, partner stands.
